The film was crafted from the idea of finding hope in the midst of tragedy, while observing the long lasting effects of trauma. It is said by many that time heals all, but how much time is truly required? How quickly do we expect persons to move on? Where is God in the midst of it all? All of these questions form the foundation of our story. We are excited for you to see it!
About the Production
Look Up Child is Produced by Why Christ Media Group in Association with New Hill Productions and Directed by Leonardo Newman, his second feature film. Look Up Child was fully produced in The Bahamas with an all Bahamian cast and crew. Production began in 2022 and was completed in 2023. The film has already received multiple award nominations at international film festivals, including Best Lead Actress and Best Foreign Feature Film. The film contains an original score and an original song composed by Bahamian composer Stefan Thompson.
